Environs de Nachod, 1866. Le chemin de fer achemine les renforts depuis quelques jours.
Surroundings of Nachod, 1866. The railway has been bringing in reinforcements for a few days.

Nous jouons les Autrichiens ce jour, Alex et moi...et les hostilités commencent de suite!
We are playing the Austrians today, Alex and I...and hostilities begin immediately!

Quelques unités prussiennes nous attendent, dispersées en haut d'une colline, il faut les en déloger!
A few Prussian units are waiting for us, scattered at the top of a hill, we have to dislodge them!

Nos bataillons autrichiens, une fois en haut, appliquent leur 'Stosstaktik', baïonnette et courage!

Et pendant que nos pertes grandissent sur la colline, les colonnes de renforts atteignent
le village, ici les Saxons alliés aux Autrichiens...A gauche nous installons nos batteries.

 here the Saxons allied to the Austrians... On the left we install our batteries.

De très bons débuts, nous pouvons installer notre artillerie avant l'arrivée des canons Krupp,
et nous interdisons de fait les mouvements de renforts prussiens.
Very good beginnings, we can install our artillery before the arrival of the Krupp guns,
and we de facto prohibit the movements of Prussian reinforcements.

Et ils sont nombreux cette fois, les combats seront intenses!

Après de bons débuts, le doute s'installe chez nous...
Alors, courageusement, nos cavaliers chargent et défient les carrés du Kaiser!

Dans un moment de folie, les hussards autrichiens chargent une batterie prussienne, décidément ce jour est faste pour les Habsbourg, ils emportent la moitié des canons... avant de retraiter!
In a moment of madness, the Austrian hussars charge a Prussian battery, this day is decidedly auspicious for the Habsburgs, they carry off half of the guns... before retreating!

Hurrah, victoire est nôtre, les Prussiens sont repoussés cette fois-ci!
Un résultat inespéré, et très précaire...Mais c'est une autre histoire!
