SupprimerWOW, that coach in the mist is amazing.
RépondreSupprimerThank you so much, I was inspired by the weather we have here...fog, fog...and snow sometimes!
SupprimerYou`ve done it again... yet another amazing post. You really brought the Spanish Succession alive with this one: and that `coach and four` is magnificent, the mist makes it even more atmospheric. I can almost feel the chill "brrrrr" of that poor driver.
RépondreSupprimerYou're right, not an easy craft! Many thanks for visiting Stephen...
SupprimerI can only imagine the talk of the attending commanders as they deliberate in the morning fog about their place in the upcoming battle. Vive le capitaine Scargo!
RépondreSupprimerFor sure, it was the famous fog of war! Cheers Jay...
SupprimerVraiment super, j'ai beaucoup aimé!
RépondreSupprimerLe vent des boulets sous le kilt, quel effet ;-)
Ludiquement
Merci beaucoup, c'est très gentil!
SupprimerA lovely collection of figures and a great AAR.
RépondreSupprimerGlad you enjoyed my friend!

SupprimerA feast of eye candy there Phil. Awesome looking game.
RépondreSupprimerCheers Paul, much appreciated!
Supprimerlove the coach and its horses, Phil!
RépondreSupprimerCute, isn't it?
SupprimerFantastic armies and report Phil!
RépondreSupprimerVery kind of you Cyrus, thanks!
SupprimerA lucky find, this report. :) Best wishes to the soldiers of Le Petit Louis XIV from a a citizen of Pain Court, or Ville Ste. Louis if you prefer. (Not that anyone here can pronounce that quite right anymore.)
RépondreSupprimerThanks, and salutations to Ontario!
SupprimerThe other Pain Court. I forget that there are two. :"> The one in the the Louisiana Territory. Did Ontario ever go by Ville Ste. Louis? We've translated it a little, but otherwise still keep the name. Anyway, lovely report and a fantastic table, as always.
SupprimerOups, sorry, salutations to Louisiana, didn't get it! And once again many thanks!
SupprimerIt's my fault. I'm being entirely Oblique. St. Louis hasn't been generally called Pain Court in well over two hundred years, I'd guess. And We've not actually been in Louisiana in nearly as long. (The territory was rapidly broken up into smaller districts after Napoleon sold it to Jefferson.) And local French nicknames are . . . generally in French that would not be recognized by the Académie in Paris. So to be clear . . . Salutations from St. Louis (Missouri USA) to you and your fine club. And my distinct apologies for my terrible American humor. :">
SupprimerThanks a lot for these informations...I hope to have the pleasure of visiting one day St Louis!
SupprimerCheers,
Phil.
Great report once again Phil! Look like it was a fun game!
RépondreSupprimerGlad you enjoyed, thanks!
SupprimerWow, fantastique! Felicitations pour une belle victoire! Vive le Roi!! :D
RépondreSupprimerDifficile mais belle...Vive le Roi!

SupprimerExcellent work Phil. Very colorful miniatures. I love the coach.
RépondreSupprimerHappy New year! full of miniatures!
THanks for visiting Kike, and Happy New Year!
SupprimerExceedingly impressive, Phil! Huge battlefield with tons of troops. I must say going to battle in a coach has a touch of class.
SupprimerThanks Dean...It was a sumptuous era!
SupprimerAmazing report Phil. The face of the Scottish commander prizeless! I wonder how many times I looks as him during my games, wondering: 'How to hell, they lost the game?'!
RépondreSupprimerAnd it was a close match, disappointment was even greater for them! THanks Bart, hope you're not under the snow ...
SupprimerHeh heh ... nice mist effect. You certainly know how to tell a (batrep) story! :)
RépondreSupprimerGlad you enjoyed the mist...and the batrep, many thanks!
