Hannibal ad Portas 🐘

HANNIBAL AD PORTAS... Des éléphants aux portes de Rome!😨
HANNIBAL AD PORTAS... Elephants at the gates of Rome!

Sonnez trompettes...Rassemblement, l'heure est grave!
Sound trumpets ... Rally, the time is serious!

They trample the Roman wheat, the Libyan mercenaries must be punished ... in the blood!

Carthago Delenda! First units are formed in the early morning in the plain ...

The plain, here it is: in blue the army of Hannibal, in red the Romans ...

The Numidians forming the Carthaginian vanguard have invested the ruins ... and the ground around.

Hello everyone,
The second Punic War is at the heart of the game of the day.
Benoit, Serge and I are Cathaginians vs Ronie and Christopher.

Three minutes of sound and light to get in the 'Punic War' mood .

The first Numidian scouts harass Roman cavalry.

Soon near the Roman villas are exchanged for the first shots ... Bows, slingshots, javelins ...

Then it's the fire all over the table!

The melee continues into the streets of the villages ...

Victory points shared at the dawn of the 10th round of play,
fatigue is felt on both sides, and the Gods have not yet chosen their side ...

Doubt gradually invades Roman ranks, no decisive issue and their reserves are exhausted.

Last legions are sent, the ultimate defense against furious elephants.

A l'ombre des majestueux piliers Rome s'épuise...puis replie en soirée...Victoire d'Hannibal!
In the shadow of the majestic pillars Rome is exhausted ... then folds in the evening ... Victory of Hannibal!

But already new palisades are erected, already new flocks driven, already new reinforcements, already Rome is preparing his revenge ... but that's another story!

  10. Wow, this is one of the most enjoyable games I have seen you post. Not sure exactly why (maybe because its a subject I`ve always wanted to do, but never did), maybe the amazing looking terrain and miniatures.. but I think mostly it just looks such fun to play, and the story is so engaging.
